Ms. Carol has been a vocal performer since
1986 and a private vocal educator in Toronto
since 1994. Her band ClaireVoyance has
impressed many both on CD (their most recent
release is Live At Hot House Cafe) and in live
performances. In addition, she has performed
with many of the who’s who of Canadian jazz.
Ms. Carol will be performing original compositions and unique jazz and progressive rock standards. |

Montgomery. Nathan loves to perform in an organ
trio
with Bernie Senesky on organ and Sly Juhas
on drums. He has backed
such musicians as Kira
Callahan, Laura Hubert, Ryan Oliver, Brandi
Desterheft and Jake Wilkinson. Nathan Hiltz has
just release his debut cd entitled, "Your Love Is A
Plane Crash". Hiltz will be performing with many
of the featured artists over the three night event.

Ross is a well-known bassist in Toronto having worked
with artists such as Matt Dusk, Jesse Cook, Eliana Cuevas, and Nicholas Ali.
"I'm fortunate enough to do what I love for a living - playing with amazing
musicians." MacIntyre will be backing many of the featured artists over the three night event.

Sarah Jerrom - vocals (Friday)
Sarah Jerrom is a graduate of the University of Toronto's Jazz performance program. She has honed her skills by studying and collaborating with some of the most in demand musicians in Canada, including Mike Murley, David Occhipinti, Melissa Stylianou, Phil Nimmons, Kevin Turcotte, Dave Young, John Sherwood, Heather Bambrick and Christine Duncan. Sarah has recently launched her debut cd, "Illuminations".

Janice Hawke- vocals (Friday)
Janice Hawke has lent her voice as an actress, voiceover actor and singer in Toronto for over ten years. A theatre graduate of Windsor University, Janice will be singing some of her favourite classics and standards. Accompanying Miss Hawke will be special guest Howard Stern on keyboards. |

Sam Dickinson was born in Toronto in 1992. He began playing guitar at the age of 8. He is part of the Humber College community music program and occasionally plays gigs around Toronto. He has studied with musicians like Ted Quinlan, Lorne Lofsky, Roland Hunter, and Emile D'eon. |

Ilana Waldston- vocals (Friday)
Ilana regularly gigs singing "comedic cabaret with a jazz sensibility." Since the sell-out performance of her one-woman show "It's Only Me" at Trane Studio last summer, Ilana Waldston has been lauded for remarkable frankness, great comedic timing, and a well-honed ability to sell a song. |

Kate Schutt - vocals/8 string vovax (Friday)
Kate Schutt who recently released her debut cd, "No Love Lost", is a Harvard graduate and Berklee alum. Miss Kate plays a Novax 8-string, the instrument made famous by jazz great Charlie Hunter. |

Cindy Doire - vocals (Friday)
French chanteuse Cindy Doire, has been extensively sharpening her craft as a songstress and performer since the recent release of her debut album "La Vie en Bleu". From Françoise Hardy to Janis Joplin, English and French artists alike have all had a profound effect on Cindy's music.

Nicole Rampersaud - trumpet & her Quartet (Friday)
Nicole Rampersaud is an undergraduate of the University of Toronto and the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. Nicole has studied with John McNeil, Joe Morris, Danilo Perez and Joe Maneri, among many others. Nicole maintains a busy performance schedule with a variety of groups that stretch the musical gamut, from Toronto-based Ken Aldcroft's Convergence Ensemble to Boston-based middle eastern ensemble Zilzala.

Sienna Dahlen - guitar/keyboards/vocals (Saturday) Sienna Dahlen has four CDs out under her name and is the first vocalist to be accepted into the Master of Music in Jazz program at the University of Toronto. Sienna will be performing original jazz stardards.

Margot Roi - vocals (Saturday) Margot Roi has just released her debut cd, "A Place For Me". Toronto based jazz vocalist Margot Roi delivers powerfully performed straight ahead jazz that cross-pollinates traditional and contemporary standards for a textured fresh sound. |

Layah Jane, who has three CDs of her own, walks the folk side of the jazz street, recalling the more jazz oriented work of Joni Mitchell and Rickie Lee Jones. Layah Jane was the winner of the 2006 Toronto Independent Music Award for Best Jazz. The singer guitarist will perform original jazz inspired songs from her recently release cd. |

Ori Dagan - vocals (Saturday)
Ori Dagan is a Toronto-based jazz singing musician that loves jazz and hopes to makes others feel the same way. Initially trained in classical piano and theatre, his passion for jazz music drove him out of the University of Toronto's English program and into York University's Department of Music, where he completed a BFA in 2007. Ori performs regularly in downtown Toronto. His debut album is due out in August of 2008. |

Rob Christian - saxophone/flute

Rob Christian has been selected to receive the Moe Koffman Memorial Scholarship from the University of Toronto in 2007, received an IAJE (International Association for Jazz Education) Scholarship in 2006, a Rotary Jazz Award for ‘Up and Coming Jazz Musician’ in 2005 and a $1,500.00, Celebration of the Arts Award in 2004. Being a double threat, he is well on to his way to becoming one of the most sought after international performers. |

Brownman & Brownman's Electryc Trio (Saturday)
Brownman (Nick Ali) was born in Trinidad, schooled in New York under Randy Brecker and called, "Canada's preeminent jazz trumpeter" by New York City's Village Voice magazine. Brownman will be featuring his electrified Miles Davis' influenced band, Brownman Electryc Trio who have been named "Electric Group of the year" in the 2007 National Jazz Awards.

Geordie Haley - guitar/Brandon Valdivia - drums Duo (Saturday)
Geordie Haley is a Toronto-based guitarist, composer and improviser. He has four recent recordings available at www.vergemusic.com. These records represent the depth and breadth of his endless search for new sounds: The Everytime Band "The Green Suite and Other Stories"; Geordie Haley Trio "Polar Bears"; East Delta Trio "Summer Garden Party"; and Sea of Song Trio "Blue Boat". The Everytime Band has performed at L'Off Festival in Montreal, the Toronto Jazz Festival and the Atlantic Jazz Festival in Halifax. The Geordie Haley Trio has appeared at the Guelph Jazz Festival and Glenn Hall's 416 Festival in Toronto. Geordie currently co-curates the Leftover Daylight Series at Array Music Studios, a performance series showcasing improvisation and new composition (www.ovalwindowmusic.org/leftoverdaylight). |

Vibraphonist Arnold Faber is an accomplished, award- winning composer and performer. He has played most of the jazz festivals in Canada with his groups Mallet Busters and Vibre . His passion for the vibraphone and percussion is evident in every note he plays.
Arnold's unique sound and approach have delighted audiences at the Port Hope, Montreal, Vancouver, Victoria, Edmonton, Calgary and Medicine Hat Jazz festivals in recent years. He has also recorded many sessions for CBC Radio.

Christine Bougie has released her first album "Hammy's Secret Life", in March, 2007. She attended Humber College for Jazz Studies, tours frequently playing lap steel and guitar for Amy Millan, and performs or records with many of Toronto's finest musicians.

Tina Nodwell - vocals (Sunday)
Tina Nodwell is a vocalist who enjoys singing jazz, contemporary music and progressive rock. Tina has been performing regularly at Lisa Particelli's Girls Night Out jazz jam for the past 3 years. Tina is grateful for the warm mentorship of many great singers and musicians she has met through this jam. Recently she has had a few gigs at Gate 403 in "The Duettes" with Jana Cassidy. |

Alexis Cole - vocals. (Sunday)
Jazzmobile's 2007 Vocal Competition winner Alexis Cole has had the opportunity to travel extensively and perform alongside some of the music's most laudable players including Slide Hampton, Rufus Reid, and Harry Pickens. A student of the world, Alexis has participated in the Jazz India Vocal Institute and was a winner of the Montreux Jazz Festival Vocal Competition. Alexis also loves to teach, and in 2006, after obtaining her Master's of Music from Queens College, she taught at Berklee College of Music's sister school in Ecuador.
Also active on the Asian scene, her CD's are distributed throughout Japan and she plays and sings in Tokyo a quarter of the year. Alexis' recordings receive airplay on jazz radio stations worldwide. Her much anticipated third release 'Zingaro' featuring Ron Affif on guitar and Jeff Eckels on bass was released on Canopy Jazz in July 2007 to great critical acclaim.
